Description

In this role, you will design and optimize processes for high yield, develop manufacturing tools, and validate production methods. Your work will involve collaboration across teams and may require occasional travel to implement processes at various sites.

Requirements

• •MSc degree in microtechnology, chemistry, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
• •Experience in process development in high volume manufacturing
• •Knowledge in micro-assembly and semiconductor processing (MEMS), surface activation technologies
• •Knowledgeable of optical metrology methods (2D and 3D coordinate measurement systems, microscopes, spectrometer)
• •Familiarity with FMEA, Gage R&R, DOE, SPC and other statistical modelling
• •Proficient in reading/interpreting engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning
• •Open-minded for challenging ideas in dynamic environments with changing priorities
• •Quick thinker, creative, persistent, and empathic
• •Proficiency in English, and German is an advantage
• •Travel up to 10% to transfer developed processes to multiple production sites

Tasks

• •Design processes and process flows for high yield and throughput
• •Develop fixtures, tooling, and equipment for prototypes and high-volume manufacturing
• •Conduct feasibility studies of prototypes for mass production
• •Validate processes and release developed processes, including capability studies
• •Perform statistical process control and root cause analysis
• •Select, install, modify, and maintain process equipment
• •Document processes and integrate them into the production management environment
• •Train co-workers on new processes
• •Travel up to 10% to transfer processes to multiple production sites
• •Collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams
