- Inspect purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment for accuracy and compliance
- Develop and refine inspection methods for manufactured parts
- Determine methods, sequences, and procedures for inspection
- Perform intermediate inspections
- Utilize drawings, specifications, and industry standards to adapt inspection tools and procedures
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
- Document results by recording detailed test results and preparing quality problem reports
- Conduct intermediate problem-solving to identify root causes and implement solutions
- Apply statistical methods and use precision measuring tools, gauges, and equipment, including CMM
- Develop audit methods, sequences, and procedures
- Perform basic audits
