Requirements

- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO9001, and FSSC22000
- Project management and priority management skills
- Understanding of commercial strategy processes
- Knowledge of food safety and commercialization
- Experience with ingredient and package technology
- Coaching and technical training skills
- Experience handling customer quality issues
- Microbiology, food safety, and sanitation experience
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Cross-functional communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of statistical processes and problem-solving
- Business acumen, influencing, and negotiating skills
- Auditing certification or equivalent experience
- Strong customer and consumer focus
- High decision quality and problem solving
- Action oriented and motivating others
Tasks
- Lead technical and scientific professionals in the DACH region
- Manage direct reports and indirect manufacturing facility teams
- Execute regional and global quality programs
- Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements
- Drive quality commitment at the plant level
- Monitor and direct corrective actions for quality KPIs
- Partner with R&D, marketing, and manufacturing departments
- Represent the quality function in senior management meetings
- Solve business problems using in-depth technical expertise
- Facilitate communities of practice on quality topics
- Identify quality enhancements across the supply chain
- Coordinate special situations and early warning investigations
- Perform root-cause analysis to protect consumers
- Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement
