Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant discipline
- Effective work in English and some knowledge of French
- Minimum five years experience in quality/product assurance in complex software-intensive environment, preferably operational or 24/7
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, develop skills
- Excellent interpersonal and team working skills, analysis, synthesis, presentation abilities
- Knowledge and practice of ISO 9000 and/or ECSS standards
- Knowledge and hand-on experience of ISO 27001, ISO 22301, or Space Environment and sustainability standards
- Auditor certification would be an advantage
- National of EUMETSAT Member States
Tasks
- Manage quality assurance specialists and budget
- Define and implement QA framework for TSS
- Measure effectiveness and efficiency of QA processes
- Provide QA support for EUMETSAT satellite and ground systems
- Implement software quality assurance
- Monitor QA requirement implementation
- Guide and support anomaly and incident investigations
- Facilitate risk management and lessons learned
- Promote continual improvement in maintenance and operations
- Support process definition and documentation
- Ensure compliance with EUMETSAT Management System
- Assist in harmonising EUMETSAT-wide QA processes
- Conduct internal and external quality audits
