- Effective English and some French knowledge
- Professional experience in operations and preparation of satellite systems
- Minimum five years experience in mission control systems development, maintenance, or operations
- Practical experience in formal integration, verification, and validation testing of mission control systems
- Ability to plan and implement activities, prioritizing according to constraints
- Ability to coordinate and manage multi-cultural teams
- Good interpersonal skills and clear communication
- National of EUMETSAT Member States
Tasks
- Lead the Copernicus mission control operations team
- Coordinate monitoring and control operations
- Maintain mission control systems for EUMETSAT and Copernicus
- Plan and schedule routine and special operations
- Investigate and resolve anomalies and contingencies
- Provide on-call support
- Manage configuration control and change management
- Maintain operations procedures and system databases
- Manage system elements for monitoring and control
- Perform evaluation and trend analysis
- Monitor performance of mission control systems
- Manage interfaces with external operational entities
- Support the definition and design of mission control systems
- Develop and test evolutions for existing systems
- Prepare for launch and commissioning of spacecraft
- Lead mission control systems operations preparation
- Support the development of future mission control systems
- Assist in training operations team personnel
