  • Follow up on vessel audits and inspections
  • Cooperate with Master, C/E, and stakeholders on inspections
  • Review non-conformity reports
  • Review accident and incident reports
  • Review near miss reports
  • Review internal NCRs
  • Ensure quality data capture
  • Conduct post-incident investigations
  • Analyze incident causes
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Conduct internal safety audits
  • Conduct internal security audits
  • Conduct internal environmental audits
  • Consider certified standards for audits
  • Consider company expectations for audits
  • Manage content of the management system
  • Introduce the management system
  • Provide training on the management system
  • Control documentation for the management system
  • Liaise with peers on improvement potentials
  • Liaise with technical fleet team on improvement potentials
  • Liaise with direct superior on improvement potentials
  • Act as a key member of the Emergency Response Team
  • Participate in incident management
  • Participate in incident coordination
