QEHS Technician(m/w/x)

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- AA, BS, BA or college degree preferred
- 2-5 years experience in EHS/Quality role
- Six-Sigma Greenbelt a plus
- Database development and maintenance knowledge
- Working knowledge of EHS training practices, metrics, programs
- Working knowledge of applicable OSHA regulations
- Ability to understand, collate, interpret EHS metrics, prepare reports/presentations
- Ability to understand contractual requirements and application
- Demonstrated interpersonal, oral, written communication skills
- Strong MS Office computer skills
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Additional knowledge/skills may be required by assignment or contract
- Valid driver’s license
- Authorization to work in host country
- Physically capable of performing duties; lifting/pushing/pulling minimum 50 lbs
Tasks
- Implement and ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety Programs
- Conduct product quality and safety inspections
- Review and monitor the Amentum Quality Control Program (QCP)
- Ensure QC Inspectors maintain standards according to PWS, Technical Orders/Manuals, and ISO Standards
- Collect, process, and review EHS data for metrics and reports
- Assist the Site Manager in tracking and recording injuries
- Maintain the EHS and Quality SharePoint library and key documentation
- Coordinate and monitor EHS training requirements
- Perform daily data entry from field quality inspections and audits
- Ensure data quality meets site requirements
- Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions
- Coordinate Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety Department audits
- Provide guidance on significant changes to the quality management system
- Facilitate root cause analysis for site-level NCRs
- Validate NCRs before input into QMS
- Track and control site inputs into the quality system
- Provide continuous development training to site-level Internal Auditors
- Oversee the SIF/QCIF program
- Process, evaluate, and submit NCRs, PARs, Self-Inspections, and audit reports
- Liaise with USAF CORs on site quality issues
- Prepare reports and generate metrics for site compliance
- Attend Site Manager Staff Meetings
- Prepare personnel performance reports
- Supervise, direct, and train QC Inspectors
- Complete maintenance forms and train others in documentation procedures
- Maintain safety practices and housekeeping to the highest standard
- Check repairs for the highest quality standards
- Ensure current Technical Orders and commercial manuals are used
- Perform random in-process and final product inspections
- Review production and inspection schedules for accuracy and timely completion
- Inspect tools, shop equipment, safety equipment, and protective clothing
- Perform other duties as assigned
