Project Lead – Strategic Facility and Technologies planning(m/w/x)
Strategic facility and technology planning for ophthalmic lens manufacturing. Advanced project management experience required. 4-day work week, company car for private use.
Requirements
- University degree in engineering, natural sciences, business administration, or related field
- Advanced project management or coordination experience, ideally in optics, ophthalmics, medical technology, or comparable industrial environment
- Solid project management skills: planning, tracking, risk/issue management, basic budgeting
- Basic understanding or strong interest in ophthalmic lenses/eyewear optics and related manufacturing processes
- Awareness of quality and regulatory requirements for optical/medical products (experience with MDR/ISO is a plus)
- Proficient with project and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Project or equivalent, Excel, PowerPoint, MS 365; Jira/Confluence is an advantage)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; confident collaborating with technical and non-technical partners
- Structured, reliable, solution-oriented working style; high ownership and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
Tasks
- Plan and execute ophthalmic projects
- Define project scope, milestones, and resource needs
- Maintain and update project plans
- Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and activities
- Identify and track project risks and issues
- Define and follow up on countermeasures
- Manage change requests and assess impacts
- Prepare and lead project meetings
- Document decisions, actions, and progress
- Create management-ready presentations
- Maintain project governance
- Provide structured status reports
- Propose decisions to stakeholders and management
- Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements
