- Revise budgets as needed
- Monitor project expenditures against budgets
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and donor regulations
- Prepare financial reports for donors
- Submit payment requests according to donor requirements
- Compile internal financial reports for management
- Conduct budget vs. actual analysis
- Identify and address budget variances
- Support expenditure verifications and audits
- Oversee financial management of partners and sub-grantees
- Ensure compliance with agreements and donor rules
- Provide financial guidance to partners
- Monitor project expenditures in ERP system
- Ensure transactions are accurately recorded
- Maintain bookkeeping and accounting best practices
- Document all project-related financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with German accounting standards
- Prepare financial statements under local regulations
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors
- Align financial procedures with compliance requirements
