Product Safety and Reliability Technical Lead(m/w/x)
Managing safety and reliability for high-speed trains and electric buses at transportation systems manufacturer, coordinating RAMS contributors. Proven safety/reliability experience and assessment techniques knowledge required. Hybrid work, 30 days vacation.
Requirements
- University degree (B.Sc., M.Sc. or equivalent) or equivalent working experience
- Proven record of relevant safety and/or reliability experience
- Working experience in project assignments
- Knowledge and experience in safety and reliability assessment techniques
- Knowledge of relevant software tools is of benefit
- Knowledge and experience in interpretation and application of relevant standards, laws, regulations
- Background knowledge in any engineering area may be beneficial
- Fluency in English and German
Tasks
- Manage reliability and safety activities for projects
- Define reliability requirements to enhance product performance
- Coordinate RAMS contributors for project scope
- Apply and improve Alstom/Engineering RAMS processes
- Conduct safety and reliability design reviews as scheduled
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
- Support internal teams in defining safety and reliability measures
- Manage interface with independent parties on project issues
- Continuously assess product reliability performance and define necessary actions
- Proactively support design solutions to control railway safety risks
- Lead safety activities related to incidents and near-misses
- Work on complex assignments, providing plans, costs, and schedules
