Tasks
- •Perform project TD activities in line with QCD commitments
- •Plan and pilot TD activities and deliverables according to customer requirements
- •Ensure quality of TD deliverables and their acceptance by the customer
- •Report on TD activities progress and alert relevant parties about potential issues
- •Allocate requirements and mechanical interfaces to sub-systems and equipment
- •Monitor conformity of mechanical sub-systems and equipment deliveries with project needs
- •Resolve project mechanical issues and challenge actions within a single domain
- •Define mitigation plans for identified risks in the mechanical scope
- •Deliver the Mechanical Project/Product Preferred Part List (3PL)
- •Define project mechanical decomposition in Digital Mock-Up (ZBS)
- •Prepare and document TD Design Reviews according to project schedule
- •Resolve project mechanical issues and challenge actions across multiple domains
- •Coordinate different TD contributors on the project
- •Define project priorities for the TD project team
- •Monitor, control, and consolidate the Train Design work package
- •Analyze and consolidate change request impacts on TD scope
- •Produce high-level TD deliverables such as RSAD TD and TD Validation Plan
- •Report on TD activities progress and anticipate issues, alerting as needed
- •Establish trainset layout with bogie architecture principles and define mass and center of gravity per vehicle type
- •Define train mechanical architecture considering weight, gauge, and installation strategy
- •Validate Transverse Requirement Specifications in collaboration with the Train System Engineer
- •Define mitigation plans for identified risks in the TD scope
- •Define project mechanical decomposition (PBS)
- •Collaborate with other departments
- •Establish Certification & Validation Plans for TD scope
- •Support sourcing, industrialization, and manufacturing teams during production ramp-up
- •Collaborate with the TDMM for continuous improvement of the metier
