Description

In this role, you will drive product line strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance and profitability. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve planning, forecasting, and managing the product lifecycle while ensuring customer satisfaction and market competitiveness.

Requirements

• •Demonstrated project management skills
• •Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams
• •SAP knowledge, good knowledge of Excel and MS Office, familiarity with data analytics tools
• •Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering
• •100% fluent in English, conversational knowledge of German or other EU language advantageous
• •Ability to work independently and consult multiple experts
• •Ability to communicate complex business and technical issues
• •MBA or equivalent demonstrated experience
• •>3 years in Sales/Marketing, product management, technology, manufacturing, or engineering services
• •Some experience in Fiber Optic preferred
• •Participation in multicultural and/or multi-geographic projects

Tasks

• •Execute and develop product line strategy
• •Participate in cross-functional product team meetings
• •Develop and execute product line planning process
• •Identify critical projects for the year
• •Find optimal solutions for product performance issues
• •Assess downstream market requirements and competitive threats
• •Support pricing strategies
• •Create and manage short and long-term forecasts
• •Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain
• •Identify and create new products with Program Management
• •Support product line strategy through innovation stages
• •Oversee product line inventory information flow
• •Identify opportunities for cost reduction in manufacturing
• •Develop business cases for new product requests
• •Create value propositions to improve product margins
• •Manage product obsolescence process
• •Communicate product change notices to teams
• •Demonstrate knowledge of customer requirements in the Carrier market
• •Provide guidance on customer approaches
• •Ensure alignment of processes for customer satisfaction
• •Leverage global capacity footprint for intercompany business
• •Manage customer notifications with PLM
