Requirements

• •8+ years of product design experience

• •Experience building and mentoring design teams
• •Experience establishing design processes and systems
• •Portfolio demonstrating strategic user-centered design
• •Experience in fintech or B2B SaaS
• •Expertise in scalable design systems
• •Expert proficiency in Figma
• •Experience leading user research initiatives
• •Grasp of front-end development principles
• •Familiarity with agile development cycles
• •Exceptional verbal and written communication
• •Strategic and tactical design thinking
• •Proactive leadership and ownership mentality
• •Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Tasks

• •Lead and mentor three product designers
• •Collaborate with the VP Product
• •Participate in recruiting and team building
• •Facilitate design critiques and reviews
• •Set and maintain design quality standards
• •Assign projects based on designer strengths
• •Conduct performance reviews and set objectives
• •Define the product design vision
• •Oversee design system development and governance
• •Establish efficient design workflows and processes
• •Define structured design-to-development handoff standards
• •Implement automation solutions and design tools
• •Maintain design pattern libraries and guidelines
• •Lead high-impact design initiatives personally
• •Champion user research and testing practices
