Requirements

  • Technical communication to interdisciplinary audiences
  • Experience reviewing design construction compliance
  • Safety compliance testing and troubleshooting
  • Experience in risk assessments or FMEA
  • Experience with failure analysis

Tasks

  • Establish a product certification and compliance program
  • Minimize business risk and prevent customer delays
  • Monitor trends in environmental regulatory compliance laws
  • Communicate regulatory impacts to product teams
  • Maintain product compliance policies and procedures
  • Evaluate materials and designs for environmental conformity
  • Manage electrical safety and energy efficiency certifications
  • Advise engineering on optimizing product designs
  • Serve as a technical expert for functional teams
  • Manage conformity assessments with regulators and agencies
  • Evaluate product markings and user documentation
  • Communicate standards requirements to internal and external customers
  • Analyze regulatory changes for new and legacy products
  • Assess product changes for impact on current approvals
