Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences (Mechanical, Chemical, Textile, Biotechnology, Polymer, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field)
- 3+ years experience in process development or engineering (ideally lab, pilot, production environments)
- Hands-on experience with unit operations (mixing, compounding, spinning, fiber-forming technologies)
- Experience in process monitoring, analytics tools, technology transfer (lab to production)
- Confident MS Office use
- Advantageous experience with ELN/LIMS or other operational systems
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement methodologies
- Plus: experience with Python, SQL, JMP, or Minitab
- Team-oriented working style, multidisciplinary collaboration ability
- High adaptability, flexibility, proactive hands-on mindset (dynamic R&D, pilot-scale)
- Professional English skills
- Plus: German language skills

- Plan and execute pilot and production-scale runs
- Ensure equipment readiness and smooth process execution
- Maintain safe, organized lab and pilot environments
- Coordinate maintenance and support equipment availability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during trials and scale-up
- Create and improve SOPs, work instructions, batch records
- Support quality, safety, and operational standards
- Analyze process data to identify trends and opportunities
- Drive process optimization through structured, analytical approach
- Support technology transfer with documentation, parameter updates, feedback
