Requirements

  • Background in explosion protection and simulation
  • Experience in 2D and 3D design
  • Knowledge of multi-physics and simulation tools
  • Mechanical engineering experience in various domains
  • Experience in project management and team-building
  • Experience in prototyping and manufacturing

Tasks

  • Support R&D projects with shared engineering resources
  • Execute 2D and 3D mechanical designs
  • Perform multi-physics and CFD simulations
  • Manage PCB design and EMC integration
  • Oversee simulation and design tools for all teams
  • Plan and support the dedicated IT hardware environment
  • Coordinate hardware needs with leadership and lab directors
  • Build prototyping capabilities for parts and converters
  • Develop a support network of local suppliers
  • Manage personnel resources and assign project capacity
  • Develop technical platform capabilities for future needs
