Tasks

- Design units and lessons that activate prior knowledge and promote deep thinking
- Implement Readers’ and Writers’ Workshop for differentiated literacy instruction
- Apply Universal Design for Learning principles to support learner variability
- Plan, assess, and report on clear learning outcomes using formative and summative assessments
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse academic, social, and emotional needs
- Use data sources to inform instruction and identify next steps for learning
- Collaborate within an inclusive Multi Tiered System of Support environment
- Work closely with grade-level colleagues and specialists for shared planning
- Communicate effectively with families as partners in learning
- Contribute to a collaborative professional culture focused on continuous improvement
- Create a safe and engaging classroom environment for all students
- Promote positive behavior and teach social skills and self-regulation
- Support respectful relationships and emotional regulation
