Requirements
- •Bachelor’s of Education with current teaching certification/license
- •Additional certifications in ESL/EAL or specific literacy programs
- •Strong understanding and experience with UDL
- •Master’s Degree in Special Education, Inclusion, or related field
- •Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Learning Support teacher in International School
- •Proven experience working with Secondary age range (Grades 6–10)
- •Demonstrated experience with MTSS framework and designing interventions
- •Flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork skills

Tasks
- •Lead MTSS implementation for Grades 6-10
- •Collaborate with subject teachers to enhance Tier 1 practices
- •Plan and deliver targeted Tier 2 small-group interventions
- •Provide intensive Tier 3 individualized support
- •Coordinate tiered support for diverse learning profiles
- •Monitor student progress through data collection
- •Support literacy development and language acquisition
- •Co-create and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
- •Keep clear, confidential records for documentation
- •Engage in co-teaching and in-class support models
- •Consult with teachers to design differentiated learning experiences
- •Share strategies for scaffolding and inclusive assessment
- •Attend planning meetings to embed accommodations in curriculum
- •Advise faculty on strategies for behavioral and academic challenges
- •Utilize evidence to identify needs and plan support
- •Summarize progress and recommend next steps for interventions
- •Build trusting relationships with families
- •Communicate progress in a culturally responsive manner
- •Promote student agency in understanding personal growth
- •Contribute to an inclusive learning environment
- •Support students' social-emotional needs with pastoral teams
- •Uphold safeguarding expectations and professional standards
