Pricing Director NS(m/w/x)
Developing pricing strategies for pharmaceutical compounds and supporting country implementation. 5+ years senior-level pricing, access, and commercial experience required. Regional or global role experience preferred.
Requirements
- At least 5 years senior level experience in pharmaceutical, HTA, or healthcare consultancy companies; pricing, access, and commercial experience across multiple brands and therapeutic areas.
- Bachelors (Masters preferred) in Math, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Health Policy, Health Economics, or advanced related fields.
- Excellent analytical skills; ability to extract and process key information, summarize needs, and provide targeted insights and recommendations.
- Recent experience in above country (regional or global) role preferred.
- Strong external orientation with broad and deep therapeutic experience, healthcare systems, and market insights.
- Track record of successful cross-functional work (Medical, Marketing, Strategy, Finance).
- At least 7 years of relevant senior level experience.
- Rare disease experience at medical, HEOR, access, or pricing level.
Tasks
- Drive development of launch and in-market pricing strategies
- Collaborate with relevant functions for pricing strategies
- Support assigned countries on pricing implementation
- Develop and review pricing strategies for assigned compounds
- Ensure alignment with program and brand strategies
- Collaborate on pricing research with IM functions and countries
- Identify and synthesize competitor price information
- Design and oversee global launch sequence optimization
- Coordinate with countries and functions for market optimization
- Develop and co-create models to optimize pricing and access
- Recommend pricing and access adaptations
- Provide input on early-stage product price assessments
- Develop loss of exclusivity (LoE) strategy
- Share knowledge on major market developments
- Interact regularly with assigned countries
- Provide operational pricing scenario analysis
- Endorse or withhold product price proposals
- Monitor local pricing and contracting implementation
- Support countries for price certificates and documentation
- Identify future price evolution events
- Maintain price evolution events in the system
- Leverage pricing analytics for non-profitable products
- Enhance information exchange on pricing
- Share best practices on pricing across functions and regions
