Postdoc Single-cell & Spatial Omics in Kidney Adaptation (ERC-funded)(m/w/x)
Building a longitudinal single-cell and spatial atlas of human kidney adaptation using scRNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics, and scATAC-seq. Strong background in single-cell/spatial omics and bioinformatics analysis required. Access to state-of-the-art technologies, structured supervision, and publication support.
Requirements
- Strong background in single-cell/spatial omics
- Experience in bioinformatics analysis and data integration
- PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, molecular biology, or related field
- Proven experience with single-cell data analysis
- Spatial or epigenomics experience is a strong plus
- Programming skills in R and/or Python
- Interest in wet-lab work (single-cell workflows)
- Willingness to engage in wet-lab work (single-cell workflows)
Tasks
- Contribute to building a longitudinal single-cell and spatial atlas of human kidney adaptation
- Combine single-cell RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics, and single-cell ATAC-seq
- Work with deeply phenotyped clinical cohorts
- Establish and drive the experimental and computational framework
- Develop single-cell and spatial omics pipelines
- Generate and integrate multi-omic datasets
- Collaborate closely with clinicians and interdisciplinary partners
