Requirements
- 12+ years in Enterprise Architecture or CTO-level role at a major software vendor
- Mastery of frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman
- Expert-level SQL and Python skills
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Deep understanding of SaaS ecosystems (SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, ServiceNow) and legacy on-premise architectures
- Demonstrated experience in Agentic AI, Machine Learning workflows, and process mining methodologies
- Strong foundation in cybersecurity posture, data privacy (GDPR/CCPA), and SOC2/ISO compliance within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong proficiency in German
- Retail Industry Expertise
Tasks
- Define overall architecture and cloud strategy for Celonis
- Ensure scalability, performance, and security across global deployments
- Establish architectural principles, policies, and standards
- Lead Architecture Review Boards to maintain a 'Clean Core' extension of ERP systems
- Drive enterprise modernization using capability mapping and emergent technologies
- Design complex data pipelines and integration patterns
- Present technical designs and value realizations to C-level executives
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to establish the Celonis program roadmap
- Resolve customer escalations by coordinating internal teams effectively
- Align Celonis delivery with the customer's strategy and targets
- Organize and lead customer advisory boards for industry-specific challenges
- Mobilize and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and experts
- Act as the primary liaison between customer technical teams and Celonis Product/Engineering
- Assist in establishing and scaling a Celonis Center of Excellence
