Requirements
- Master's degree (GPA >3.3) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Microsystem Technology, or related field
- Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, or microsystems engineering
- Experience in CAD, Lumped element modelling, FEM simulation, MATLAB programming, thermal characterization, or mechanical testing
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
Tasks
- Design elastocaloric microcooling system using SMA thin films
- Develop intelligent thermal switch for controllable heat transfer
- Integrate thermal switch to enhance heat dissipation and reliability
- Rapidly prototype using optical lithography, 3D printing, laser technology
- Develop, characterize, and control cooling demonstrator variants
- Optimize design through simulation
