- •Experience with numerical modeling of flow and transport
- •Programming skills in C++ and Python
- •Knowledge of reactive transport processes (advantageous)
- •Experience with OpenGeoSys or similar simulation software
- •Excellent communication skills in English
- •Independent work and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
- •Strong motivation for doctoral research

- •Utilize OpenGeoSys for complex geological modeling

- •Model sandy area effects on gas transport kinetics
- •Collaborate with graduate school project partners
- •Participate in five interdisciplinary seasonal schools
- •Publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- •Present findings at national and international conferences
- •Complete a doctoral dissertation within three years
