  • English fluency, written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel between KIT-Campus Alpin and KIT Campus
  • Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Willingness for one-year research stay in Australia

Tasks

  • Investigate physiological mechanisms of tree mortality under hotter droughts
  • Identify spatial patterns and hotspots of forest vulnerability using remote sensing
  • Integrate experimental and landscape-scale observations for mechanistic framework
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals
  • Present findings at international conferences
