Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree
- •Associate degree plus 4 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree
- •High school diploma plus 6 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree
- •3+ years of financial counseling experience
- •U.S. citizenship and fluent English
- •Bilingual in English and Spanish if required by the contract
- •Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation
- •Ability to pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process
- •One of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)

- •Assist service members in creating spending plans for extended absences
- •Develop and distribute informational financial materials for service members and families
- •Coordinate and conduct Personal Financial Management classes and workshops on various topics
- •Respond to requests for age-appropriate financial classes or seminars
- •Utilize virtual counseling and electronic communication methods effectively
- •Manage duty to warn situations following Department of Defense protocols
- •Communicate with leadership and participate in supervision to discuss trends and issues
- •Engage in regular training and quality improvement activities as assigned
- •Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
