- 8+ years manufacturing, process, or supplier quality experience in photonics, semiconductors, advanced packaging, or high-precision manufacturing
- Leadership experience managing quality engineers or programs in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of quality tools: SPC, FMEA, root-cause analysis, CAPA, reliability testing
- Experience supporting NPI and scale-up to high-volume manufacturing
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization, influencing teams
- Strong communication skills for conveying quality risks and plans
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical field; advanced degree or quality certification preferred
Tasks
- Lead manufacturing quality for CPO products
- Ensure robust quality systems and process controls
- Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing
- Develop and execute manufacturing quality strategy
- Manage process qualification and production readiness
- Oversee volume manufacturing quality
- Lead quality planning and risk management
- Conduct FMEA, control plans, and process capability assessments
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams
- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Establish and maintain quality metrics and dashboards
- Ensure performance against internal and customer targets
- Serve as primary quality interface for customers and suppliers
- Manage customer and supplier audits and escalations
- Initiate continuous improvement for yield and reliability
- Reduce defects and cost of quality
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements
