NPI - Product Technical Expert - for semiconductor industry(m/w/x)

Description

As a Product Technical Expert, you will lead the technical direction of a product line, collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment and drive innovation. This role involves overseeing design reviews, evaluating components, and maintaining essential documentation while staying abreast of industry trends.

Requirements

• •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or systems engineering
• •3+ years of experience in product development within semiconductor equipment or high-tech capital equipment industry
• •Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes
• •Knowledge in CAD tools, PLM systems, and FMEA methodologies
• •Experience with vacuum systems, robotics, thermal management, or precision motion control
• •Excellent communication and leadership skills

Tasks

• •Serve as the technical owner of a product line throughout its lifecycle
• •Lead cross-functional design reviews with engineering teams
• •Collaborate with supplier engineering and supply chain teams to evaluate components
• •Analyze component suitability and integration into system architecture
• •Drive design for manufacturability and design for serviceability
• •Support prototype builds and system integration
• •Facilitate continuous improvement and design enhancements with R&D and manufacturing
• •Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including BOMs and CAD models
• •Stay updated on semiconductor industry trends and emerging technologies
