Tasks
- Build and maintain cost trackers for early-stage projects
- Help engineering teams understand project costs
- Provide quick budgetary estimates for prototypes and design work
- Track actual costs against budget and flag deviations
- Source and procure parts for urgent, high-mix, low-volume prototypes
- Manage supplier communication for quotes, lead times, and availability
- Track parts from order to delivery and build
- Onboard new vendors, including NDAs and SOWs
- Maintain organized and accessible supplier records
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timelines are met
- Create and issue purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure pre-PO approvals are completed without delays
- Track spend against purchase orders and project budgets
- Track ECNs and capture cost and procurement impacts
- Maintain clean and up-to-date project data
- Help build lightweight processes for improved visibility
