Requirements

  • M.D. or Ph.D. with extensive Medical Affairs leadership experience in obesity/GLP-1 segment and clinical drug development knowledge
  • Senior leadership experience in global/regional Medical Affairs roles with strategy, governance, and people leadership accountability
  • Ability to develop externally focused Medical Affairs strategies, supporting label shaping, regulatory interactions, and pre-launch readiness
  • Experience supporting late-stage development, launch preparation, and post-launch medical excellence with Health Authority interactions in major markets
  • Cross-functional leadership and influence in complex global matrix environments
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills with senior scientific credibility
  • Ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing Medical Affairs teams
  • Applications from persons with severe disabilities warmly welcomed; preferential consideration in cases of equal qualifications

Tasks

  • Shape global Medical Affairs strategy for obesity triple agonist
  • Lead the Medical Affairs organization across development, launch, and lifecycle
  • Contribute to strategic decisions on the Global Brand Leadership Team
  • Provide medical leadership for Phase III development and indication strategy
  • Drive the Integrated Evidence Plan with Clinical Development and Market Access
  • Engage with Health Authorities and key stakeholders for labeling and access
  • Partner with regional Medical Affairs teams for launch readiness
  • Integrate clinical and real-world evidence into compelling medical narratives
  • Build and lead a high-performing global Medical Affairs team
  • Develop scalable capabilities and top talent within the team
