Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Strong hands-on and design experience in electromechanical systems (motors, actuators, sensors, gearboxes)
- Experience with system integration, calibration, and testing of hardware modules
- Ability to read and create mechanical CAD and electrical schematics
- Understanding of embedded systems, communication interfaces, and sensor integration
- Familiarity with real-time systems and collaborative development with software/embedded teams
- 1+ years' experience with robotic arms, humanoid platforms, or dual-arm manipulation systems
- Familiarity with embedded motor controllers and motion control systems
- Knowledge of ROS2 integration and sensor data pipelines
- Experience defining standards for hardware-software co-design
Tasks
- Design and integrate actuator and sensor subsystems
- Collaborate with embedded engineers on interfaces
- Develop wiring harnesses and connectors
- Create cable routing strategies for reliability
- Assist in sensor and electromechanical component calibration
- Test and troubleshoot sensors and components
- Support hardware bring-up and prototype validation
- Ensure seamless interaction with embedded firmware
- Drive system-level design and integration strategies
- Validate workflows for new modules and subsystems
