Requirements

  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred, knowledge of PDM systems is a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, prototyping, and electrical wiring
  • Practical workshop skills: 3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting, drill press
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles (kinematics, dynamics, tolerances, manufacturability)
  • Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English; German or Chinese skills are a plus
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for customer installations and support
  • Experience in robotics, automation, or system integration
  • Knowledge of electronics, sensors, and camera systems (e.g., ZED, Intel RealSense)
  • Familiarity with technical standards and compliance in robotics/mechatronics
  • Degree or technical training in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Self-driven with a passion for cutting-edge robotics technology
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on robust system design
  • Adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced development cycle

Education

Bachelor's degree
OR
Vocational certification

Work Experience

Tasks

  • Design and develop complex robotic mechanisms
  • Create detailed CAD models and technical drawings
  • Prototype mechanical parts using 3D printing
  • Support assembly and integration of mechatronic systems
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of robotic systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies in robotics
  • Work autonomously on evolving tasks
