Requirements
- •Degree or technical training in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- •Experience with SolidWorks and PDM
- •Comfort with assembling mechanical parts and using tools
- •Basic understanding of tolerances, materials, and manufacturability
- •Ability to read drawings and technical documentation
- •Experience in robotics, automation, or system integration
- •Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools and jigs/fixtures
- •Awareness of CE/Machinery Directive basics
- •Basic knowledge of sensors, electronics, or camera systems
Education
Bachelor's degree
OR
Vocational certification
Work Experience
approx. 1 - 4 years
Tasks
- •Create and update SolidWorks 3D models and 2D drawings
- •Prepare complete manufacturing packages for production
- •Use 3D printing and machining tools to create prototypes
- •Iterate prototypes to support AI experiments
- •Assemble mechanical components like profiles and sensors
- •Support the upkeep of proof of concept and test setups
- •Perform fit, collision, and stiffness checks under guidance
- •Maintain clear documentation, including BOMs and assembly notes
- •Collaborate with electrical and software teams for integration
