Requirements

  • •University degree in mechanical engineering or similar
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in 3D design, 2D drafting, and GD&T
  • •Advanced knowledge in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • •Good technical know-how in design and development of drivetrains, FEM-Analysis, or design optimization
  • •Strong analytical skills and experience in robotic industries
  • •Bonus for prior experience with mobile robotics and electronics
  • •Passion for developing innovative solutions in a cross-functional team
  • •High personal standard for performance and structured deliverables
  • •Strong communication skills in English, German optional

3 - 5 years

Tasks

  • •Design mechanical components for robotic systems
  • •Participate in all stages of the hardware product lifecycle
  • •Optimize designs through computational analysis under various load cases
  • •Evaluate designs using rapid prototyping and extensive laboratory testing
  • •Assemble and commission mechatronic prototypes
  • •Create technical reports and impact analyses
  • •Develop certification and production-related documents
  • •Learn and excel in hardware development for safe human-robot interaction
