Material (SC) Manager(m/w/x)
Overseeing material flow, inventory, and procurement procedures for USAF asset repairs. Familiarity with USAF Supply/FEDLOG, DPAS, ICOPARS systems required. International assignment, host nation license needed.
Requirements
- Proficiency in personal computers, Windows OS, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

- Valid home country driver's license
- Ability to obtain host nation driver's license
- Ability to operate material handling equipment
- Authorization to work in host country
- Bachelor's degree + 3 years specialized experience OR Associate's degree + 7 years specialized experience OR Major certification + 7 years specialized experience OR 11 years specialized experience
- Eligibility for US Secret Security Clearance
- 10 years' experience leading supply chain organization
- 10 years' experience in ESS/ILSS functions
- Working knowledge of manual/automated supply accounting systems
- Working knowledge of AFH 23-123, AFI 23-101, AFMAN 23-122, AFH 23-123 Vol 3, 24-203 Chap 3, AFMAN 25-101 policies/procedures
- Working knowledge of DPAS
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Physical capability for all duties
- Capability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs minimum
Tasks
- Oversee all aspects of parts ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing for USAF assets
- Perform duties according to applicable AFIs
- Ensure compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Quality Management System (QMS)
- Coordinate record keeping and report preparation with superintendents and supervisors
- Perform duties related to a functional supply point
- Develop procedures for part procurement based on set priorities
- Update supply inventories
- Prepare status reports
- Prepare prescribed documentation as directed
- Implement quality assurance precepts within program guidelines
- Ensure work meets quality standards
- Provide feedback to subordinates on quality
- Order, track, inventory, and process all parts requirements
- Establish special demand levels to meet production requirements
- Prepare and submit Quality/Material Deficiency reports
- Receive, review, consolidate, and submit required reports to Superintendents
- Respond to requests for documentation on production efforts related to the supply system
- Participate in the USAF Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) program
- Respond to environmental issues as required
- Ensure quality of all outgoing requisitions
- Manage receipt of parts
- Log and track controlled assets
- Issue parts according to USAF procedures
- Check parts for correct type and quantity upon receipt
- Assign bin locations for received parts
- Annotate bin locations on listings
- Ensure expeditious ordering of requested parts
- Affix document control numbers to requisition forms
- Use DPAS Warehouse exclusively for parts received via supply and ICOPARS
- Conduct semiannual inventories of parts, OVE, and equipment
- Guarantee quality of the site bench stock program
- Ensure monthly inventories of bench stock and working stock
- Perform random checks on document accuracy
- Compare parts requests to work order entries
- Annotate parts records with document numbers after SBSS processing
- Follow up on parts status with Maintenance Control Specialist
- Maintain work area to the highest cleanliness standards
- Perform TDY in the area of operations as required
- Continuously review safety plans, policies, and programs for compliance
- Participate in safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Ensure employee safety training and education
- Provide leadership, vision, and resources for an effective safety program
- Perform other assigned duties
