Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
  • •Postgraduate qualification advantageous
  • •5–8 years of relevant working experience in market analysis, business intelligence, or strategy roles
  • •Strong analytical and quantitative capability
  • •Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data visualisation or statistical tools
  • •Good understanding of international trade data and industry databases
  • •Strong storytelling and presentation skills
  • •Commercial awareness and sound judgement in interpreting market trends
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages an advantage
  • •Collaborative and proactive mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities

  • •Track competitive developments among key global producers and customers
  • •Provide regular market intelligence summaries on supply, demand, and pricing shifts
  • •Share relevant market data and insights with commercial teams
  • •Maintain and refine a global alcohols supply-demand balance model
  • •Integrate external datasets and internal inputs for comprehensive analysis
  • •Identify market opportunities and risks to inform marketing strategies
  • •Develop and automate dashboards and visual analytics using Power BI
  • •Interpret market and trade data for evidence-based decision-making
  • •Present complex information in concise formats for senior leadership
  • •Support business cases for investment and capacity expansion
  • •Contribute to long-range planning and strategy reviews with market outlooks
  • •Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent market views
