Requirements
- •BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related major or equivalent experience
- •7+ years experience in an operations environment and leading employees
- •3+ years management experience
- •Experience with vendor contract negotiating
- •Results oriented with a strong focus on the customer
- •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- •Keen attention to detail in planning, organization and execution of tasks
- •Ability to anticipate how a decision affects customers, partners, products or departments
- •Demonstration of innovation and initiative
- •Ability to travel
- •Fluency in English and German, other language skills are a great plus

- •Develop and implement transportation strategies for the EMEA region
- •Manage inbound and outbound transportation operations
- •Achieve or exceed KPIs for delivery requirements and customer demand
- •Oversee transportation budget and operational costs
- •Support the development of a world-class transportation model
- •Champion operational updates with EMEA carriers and parcel services
- •Integrate supply chain network for seamless customer service
- •Design and manage a strong transportation claims process
- •Ensure efficient product flow from suppliers to customers
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service and identify cost savings
- •Introduce new strategic transportation routing options
- •Implement cross-functional process improvements
- •Manage special programs for footwear and apparel
- •Adapt global transportation policies to the EMEA network
- •Establish and maintain relationships with EMEA carriers and vendors
- •Negotiate transportation lead times and service agreements
- •Perform quarterly business reviews with service providers
- •Create and maintain logistics standard operating procedures
- •Analyze transportation data and recommend cost reduction strategies
- •Maintain benchmarking reports for performance metrics
- •Lead and train team members for high-quality execution
- •Guide team through the 3PL bid process
- •Inspire team members to achieve business and customer results
- •Manage team culture and support career development
- •Cross-train team members for coverage
- •Promote collaboration with key partners
- •Ensure safeguarding of inventory during transit
