Tasks
- Lead supply chain operations for Vay’s commercial fleet scale-up
- Manage Procurement and Warehouse & Logistics teams
- Set clear ownership, OKRs, cadences, and team structure
- Own strategic sourcing and supplier selection
- Qualify, negotiate, and manage supplier performance
- Drive cost-out programs and dual-sourcing strategy
- Implement supplier localization across Europe, the US, and Asia
- Translate fleet expansion plans into procurement and supply plans
- Maintain flexible BOM cost overview per configuration
- Ensure production readiness for vehicle and Remote Driving Station BOMs
- Lead inbound and outbound logistics operations
- Manage customs, import/export, and warehouse operations
- Implement safety stock policy and landed cost transparency
- Improve ERP flows, PO lifecycle, and stock accuracy
- Ensure accurate ETAs, invoice matching, and inbounding
- Digitalize warehouse operations and handoffs across the chain
- Partner with Engineering, Pre-Series Production, and Finance
- Conduct monthly Budget-vs-Actuals reviews
- Meet landed cost targets
