Requirements
- Master’s degree in life sciences, computational sciences, data sciences, or related fields (doctorate preferred)
- Relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotech data analysis or related areas within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations (GCP/GVP) and FDA/EMA/ICH guidelines
- Proven expertise in medical safety and pharmacovigilance data assessments within validated computer systems
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or R; experience with visualization tools and familiarity with cloud computing platforms
- Excellent English communication skills for stakeholder engagement and translating data insights
- Experience with Databricks and Spotfire is a plus
Tasks
- Transform complex datasets into actionable insights
- Prepare and present insights for signal management
- Conduct benefit-risk assessments
- Evaluate medical scientific and pharmacovigilance data
- Implement and validate the safety analytics platform
- Ensure platform reliability and data integrity
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Create and maintain safety data catalogues
- Support data automation initiatives
- Leverage artificial intelligence for safety analytics
- Deliver innovative solutions to enhance processes
- Ensure alignment with FDA, EMA, GCP, GVP, and ICH standards
