Requirements

  • University degree in business, HR, finance, or related field
  • Extensive experience in Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards and payroll; international exposure ideal
  • Strong knowledge of salary benchmarking, job evaluation, remuneration structures, and performance-linked pay
  • High proficiency with HRIS systems (ideally SuccessFactors), Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of EMEAI payroll environments highly advantageous
  • Excellent analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex tasks
  • Experience managing vendors and external providers
  • Proactive mindset, solution-oriented approach, and passion for process improvement
  • Fluent German and English; additional European languages welcome
  • Clear, respectful communication across cultures and stakeholder levels
  • Trustworthy, discreet with sensitive information
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
  • Calm, professional, reliable in complex matrix environment

Tasks

  • Lead annual C&B cycle, including salary reviews and bonus schemes
  • Design and implement competitive country-level benefits
  • Develop harmonised remuneration structures and job grading frameworks
  • Ensure pay equity and legislative compliance across EMEAI countries
  • Support cross-border mobility for tax and social security compliance
  • Provide data analysis and HR KPIs (sickness, attrition, cost trends)
  • Oversee payroll delivery for all EMEAI countries
  • Act as key contact for payroll agencies
  • Track and verify payroll changes (new hires, leavers, salary adjustments, bonuses, absences)
  • Review payroll reports for accuracy, resolving discrepancies
  • Collaborate with Finance on approvals, reporting, and compliance
  • Provide support and guidance on payroll-related matters
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, internal policies, and audit requirements
  • Work with HR IS Manager to ensure accurate use of SuccessFactors (GEM)
  • Support wider EMEAI HR projects and global reward initiatives
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing HR team
