Manager Branding, Marketing and Communications(m/w/x)
Regional execution of global brand and communication strategy for automotive seating systems. 7-10 years progressive corporate communications, branding, or marketing experience required. Part-time work option, flexible hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
- 7-10 years progressive experience in corporate communications, branding, or marketing
- 2-5 years experience leading projects and/or direct reports
- Experience executing communications across multiple countries or regions (preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or B2B industries (strongly preferred)
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling skills
- Knowledge of AP / global journalism writing standards
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in local language (German, Mandarin pending location)
- Understanding of brand governance and communication frameworks
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with digital publishing, analytics tools, and comms platforms
Tasks
- Translate global strategy into regional execution plans
- Lead regional planning, prioritization, and implementation of communications
- Ensure regional brand governance, message alignment, and operational excellence
- Connect global strategy with local business needs
- Develop regional internal and external communication plans
- Build and manage regional story and editorial calendars
- Produce content across digital, social, and internal channels
- Identify region-specific storytelling opportunities
- Approve materials for brand and messaging compliance
- Train local stakeholders on brand guidelines
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels
- Create compelling employee communication materials
- Translate business strategy into compelling assets
- Support town halls and internal events
- Draft and refine leadership messaging, presentations, and updates
- Support team visibility and alignment
- Collaborate with partners on business-aligned communications
- Support external communications, media relations, and announcements
- Support digital content and stakeholder communication
- Track and report regional communication KPIs
- Provide insights and recommendations from KPIs
- Optimize performance across communication channels
- Lead, coach, and develop specialists
- Assign work and manage priorities for specialists
- Oversee vendors and agencies
- Ensure cost-effective execution within budget
