Maintenance Technician(m/w/x)

Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the smooth operation of logistics equipment by performing maintenance, diagnosing issues, and collaborating with various teams. This role is crucial in minimizing downtime and enhancing operational safety.

Requirements

• •Professional High School Diploma or 2-year technical degree
• •1–3 years minimum in logistics or automated industrial environment
• •Strong knowledge of electromechanics, industrial electricity, and automation
• •Familiarity with automated logistics systems
• •Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams
• •Proficiency with diagnostic tools and CMMS
• •Ability to work in dynamic and shifting environment
• •Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
• •Fluency in German and English
• •Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• •High attention to detail, responsibility, and strong safety mindset

Tasks

• •Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on logistics equipment
• •Diagnose electrical, mechanical, or automated breakdowns
• •Restore equipment to service as quickly as possible
• •Adjust and check sorting or handling lines for proper functioning
• •Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to reduce downtime
• •Record maintenance interventions in the CMMS
• •Analyze recurring faults to identify trends
• •Conduct maintenance activities following health, safety, and environmental policies
• •Collaborate with Operations, HSE, Engineering, and external service providers
• •Support audits, technical inspections, and regulatory assessments
• •Report recurring issues and propose sustainable solutions
• •Communicate equipment status, risks, and necessary actions clearly
