Tasks
- Provide daily legal guidance on freight forwarding issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design automated risk-management workflows
- Identify and mitigate risk 'leakage' points
- Manage overdue accounts and coordinate with finance teams
- Execute legal strategies for debt recovery across jurisdictions
- Oversee cargo claims and carrier disputes
- Manage commercial litigation and external law firms
- Ensure legal protocols are understood and followed cross-functionally
- Review and draft complex logistics service agreements
- Negotiate agency agreements and vendor contracts
