Requirements
- Minimum 3 years legal role experience (law firm/in-house), focused on procurement, commercial contracts, business operations support
- Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating procurement/commercial agreements (supplier, vendor, service, framework, NDAs)
- Experience providing legal support to cross-functional stakeholders (Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Sales) in corporate/industrial environment
- Ability to work independently, operate in fast-paced environment, complete multiple tasks timely/accurately, and collaborate
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited law school
- Experience advising on procurement in regulated/industrial/manufacturing/construction environment, including supplier sourcing/operational projects
- Familiarity with Swiss law and/or experience with Swiss/EU legal/regulatory frameworks
- Experience supporting construction/engineering/site projects, including contract review (facilities, construction, leasing, infrastructure)
- Experience in diverse, cross-cultural environment with strong interpersonal skills
- Admission to the bar
Tasks
- Draft, review, and negotiate supplier and vendor agreements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate manufacturing and supply contracts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate framework and service agreements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs and ancillary procurement documents.
- Provide legal advice on procurement and commercial agreements.
- Advise business functions on contractual, commercial, and risk matters.
- Ensure legal alignment with applicable laws and internal policies.
- Advise on procurement contract structuring.
- Advise on liability and risk allocation in procurement.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement processes.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders during sourcing and contracting.
- Manage corporate governance matters.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage data protection matters.
- Prevent and resolve legal disputes.
- Interact with external counsel as needed.
- Review and interpret internal policies and procedures.
- Implement policies for procurement, contract management, and compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of legal and contracting processes.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor developments in contract and procurement law.
- Monitor developments in compliance topics.
- Integrate legal considerations into business decisions.
- Integrate legal considerations into procurement strategies.
- Integrate legal considerations into operational activities.
- Manage legal matters for construction or manufacturing sites.
- Address site-specific operational legal needs.
