Lead Safety And Reliability Engineer(m/w/x)
Developing RAMS concepts for un-manned Space Systems at a major aerospace manufacturer, leading complex safety assessments and team coordination. Requirements
- Relevant completed degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering
- Extensive specialized knowledge and experience in responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge and experience in un-manned Space Systems
- Extensive applied knowledge in Safety and Reliability Engineering
- Advanced knowledge of complex hazard analysis and fault tree analysis
- Comprehensive knowledge of Safety processes and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- High level of commitment and flexibility
- Very good written and spoken English and German
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally occasionally
Tasks
- Develop new concepts for RAMS and safety-critical systems
- Provide expert authority on RAMS and safety topics
- Perform complex safety assessments at various product maturity stages
- Analyze and solve complex RAMS problems
- Direct and coordinate RAMS teams and negotiate with customers
- Implement risk optimization and safety-by-design strategies
- Guide junior and senior engineers and define training roadmaps
- Coordinate safety assessments for operations and repairs
- Lead reliability, availability, and maintainability analyses
- Prepare FMECA, HSIA, and fault tree analyses
- Define RAMS requirements for equipment specifications
- Conduct hazard analyses for spacecraft and ground support equipment
- Co-engineer with FDIR architects to optimize architecture
- Prepare documentation and technical reports for presentations
