Requirements
- •Knowledge and skills in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications engineering or equivalent
- •Knowledge and experience in areas of responsibility
- •Knowledge and experience in un-manned Space Systems, particularly payload system
- •Knowledge and experience in Safety and Reliability Engineering in Aeronautical or Space sector
- •Knowledge and experience of hazard analysis and fault tree analysis
- •Knowledge of Safety processes, regulations and guidelines (ECSS-Q-ST-40C, ARP 4761, ARP 4754A)
- •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- •Excellent communication and strong sense of responsibility
- •High level of commitment, flexibility and strong service mentality
- •Very good written and spoken English and German
- •Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- •Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity

Tasks
- •Perform project RAMS tasks at spacecraft system, subsystem, or equipment level
- •Conduct safety assessments at various product maturity stages
- •Evaluate safety for operations, removal, and repair activities
- •Establish reliability, availability, and maintainability analyses
- •Prepare FMECA, HSIA, and fault tree analyses
- •Define RAMS requirements in collaboration with equipment suppliers
- •Ensure compliance with defined requirements during design development
- •Prepare hazard analyses for spacecraft, equipment, and ground support equipment
- •Collaborate with FDIR architects on failure detection, isolation, and recovery
- •Document and present work results
