Requirements
- •Bachelor’s degree with technical background or similar technical education
- •Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive industry, preferred in manufacturing engineering
- •Excellent project management skills
- •Strong problem solving capability

Tasks
- •Lead industrialization of products from award phase to series production
- •Support kick-off meetings and MSD workshops with the PML
- •Create and adapt process flow
- •Drive DFM and DFA for producible design
- •Enforce requirements management and align with APTIV DQE
- •Plan requirements transfer to PML
- •Align industrialization deliverables with DQE
- •Act as customer interface for technical discussions
- •Develop production line concept with optimized material flow
- •Estimate cycle times and establish traceability concept
- •Ensure supplier packaging meets manufacturing requirements
- •Attend regular PDT meetings and escalate issues as needed
- •Create and maintain the MFGE project schedule
- •Prepare milestone build dates with PRS from PML
- •Organize early prototype builds and necessary equipment
- •Attend key prototype build events and customer events
- •Drive and track P-FMEA with respect to Functional Safety
- •Plan equipment and technology needs, manage SOW and procurement
- •Track equipment and tooling availability for development
- •Install equipment and conduct design reviews before fabrication
- •Perform equipment buy-off at suppliers and request approvals
- •Drive capability studies and create key parameters list for quality plan
- •Plan product and process training for PML handover
- •Participate in escalation meetings with prepared reports and resolutions
