Requirements
- University degree in Medical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- Basic knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Expertise in ultrasound imaging or related field
- Systematic analysis of clinical feedback and translation to technical improvements
- Proven project management skills in engineering environment
- Strong sense for visual perception, image aesthetics, and attention to detail
- Excellent cross-disciplinary collaboration skills
- Experience as central interface between engineering, product management, and customers
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Confident and professional presence during customer visits and events
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Availability for occasional business travel
- Interest in learning new topics and challenges
Tasks
- Ensure optimal integration and tuning of imaging technologies
- Lead engineering ownership of image quality developments
- Drive technical leadership for next-generation image quality projects
- Develop and integrate state-of-the-art imaging technologies
- Fine-tune image quality settings for technical and clinical balance
- Make technical decisions for new imaging algorithm developments
- Tune image quality based on ultrasound probe characteristics
- Design and shape new image quality concepts for visual impact
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on image quality
- Align image quality performance with clinical use cases
- Support clinical evaluations and translate feedback into enhancements
- Visit global key-opinion-leaders and customers for feedback
- Support existing products with image quality improvements
- Address critical customer feedback on installed products
