Laboratory Scientist Physico-Chemical Quality Control(m/w/x)
Testing biologics and small molecules using U/HPLC, CE-SDS, icIEF. cGMP analytics and ALCOA++ GDocP principles experience required. Work in a cGMP-regulated setting.
Requirements
- Lab technician training (EFZ, HF, CTA, BTA, PTA, BSc., or MSc.)
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical industry analytical testing
- Experience in cGMP phys-chem analytics and ALCOA++ GDocP principles
- Advantageous experience with laboratory specific software
- Good communication, independence, teamwork, and proactive attitude
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
Tasks
- Perform independent physico-chemical testing on biologics and small molecules
- Execute U/HPLC, CE-SDS, icIEF, and protein content analyses
- Conduct compendial methods including pH, color, and clarity testing
- Follow cGMP standards and Good Documentation Practices strictly
- Prepare mobile phases and perform basic laboratory operational tasks
- Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure functionality
- Provide technical knowledge to assist in equipment issue investigations
- Maintain 6s standards for chemical inventory and consumables management
- Ensure constant audit and inspection readiness within the lab
- Lead maintenance and requalification of assigned laboratory instruments
- Train colleagues on specific equipment and related analytical methods
- Support analytical method validation and transfer projects
- Contribute to laboratory optimization and process improvement initiatives
- Participate in Pikett Service for drug product analytical infrastructure
