As the organizational traffic controller for the U.S. Space Forces, you will manage the entire tasker framework to ensure accountability and precision across complex military staff operations.

Requirements

  • Understanding of military organizational structure
  • Experience with DoD or MAJCOM operations
  • Understanding of Knowledge Management policy
  • Familiarity with staff communication systems
  • Bachelors with 6 years, Masters with 4 years, or HS Diploma with 10 years experience
  • Expert knowledge of ETMS2/TMT architecture
  • Experience developing strategic documents and reports
  • Prior staff or command experience
  • Ability to operate on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools
  • Degree with specialized experience or relevant certification
  • Understanding of DoD information security policies
  • Strong leadership presence and standards enforcement
  • Advanced data analysis capability
  • Experience supporting SES and GO/FO leadership
  • Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity

Tasks

  • Lead the ETMS2 and TMT functions as the primary entry point
  • Manage daily mailbox oversight and workflow control
  • Prioritize and triage tasks into critical, priority, or routine categories
  • Assign taskers with internal suspense dates and track execution
  • Escalate urgent items immediately to ensure timely responses
  • Perform final quality control on all tasker responses
  • Produce weekly performance dashboards for the Chief of Staff
  • Analyze tasker metrics to identify workload trends and bottlenecks
  • Verify document formatting and completeness before final submission
  • Provide actionable feedback to staff to streamline product rework
  • Adjust internal timelines dynamically to protect senior leader review windows
  • Develop data visualizations and operating procedures for KM plans
  • Advise on workflow automation improvements using SharePoint and Teams
  • Enforce standardized suspense architectures and business rules
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and information exchange
  • Support organizational KM strategy through effective archiving practices
  • Apply military records management protocols to official documentation
  • Organize meetings by preparing agendas and tracking action items
