Junior Sustainability Specialist(m/w/x)
Collecting and validating sustainability data for renewable energy assets. Bachelor's degree and first practical experience in sustainability required. Safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental engineering, sustainability, renewable energy, natural resources management, or related field
- First practical experience in sustainability, operations, reporting, or risk management, ideally in energy or infrastructure sector
- Good understanding of environmental and social sustainability topics, interest in international frameworks and standards
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail, especially with data and reporting
- Structured, reliable, solution-oriented, and pragmatic working style
- Ability to work collaboratively in complex teams and independently
- Very good written and spoken English and German skills
- Confidence working with digital tools (e.g. Excel, reporting tools, collaboration platforms)
- Experience with dashboards or process tools is a plus
- Qualified applicants undergo background checks, including conflicts of interest statement
Tasks
- Collect and validate sustainability data

- Contribute to quarterly and annual reports
- Implement sustainability initiatives
- Track climate, circularity, biodiversity, and just transition
- Develop and maintain dashboards
- Create and manage KPIs
- Support transparency and decision-making
- Conduct sustainability assessments
- Participate in due diligence activities
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders
- Improve data quality
- Document processes and guidelines
- Contribute to process improvement
- Prepare analyses and benchmarks
- Support European sustainability projects
